Get involved!
MAC-CAN launched in 2021 and gained charity status in 2022. Although still a young organisation, we are energetic, focused and committed!
We are a fast-growing network of 100+ people and groups in SW Scotland, supporting community-led action to reduce the negative impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Â
We welcome anyone over 12 who lives, works or is just interested in the DG8 post code area. You can join in with any of our group actions, or bring ideas for new ways to reduce local carbon footprints, engage communities in more sustainable ways of living etc.
Â
As well as becoming a member of MAC-CAN we also welcome those with experience and knowledge to join our Trustee or Operations teams to explore opportunities, maintain direction and support different activities.
